Privacy Policy

Effective July 21, 2026 · Maintained by Fointac Media LLC for the Leagivo service.

This policy explains what personal information Leagivo (“Leagivo”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use leagivo.com and related products, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices you have.

Overview

Leagivo is a platform for youth and amateur soccer leagues. Depending on your role (organizer, team manager, coach, referee, player, or visitor), we process different categories of information to operate the service, keep it secure, and provide features such as fixtures, standings, referee assignment, and communications.

This page is maintained by Fointac Media LLC and describes our current practices. It is not a certification and does not create additional legal rights beyond those provided by applicable law.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account & profile data you provide during signup or in settings: first and last name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash), date of birth, phone number (optional), postal address, country, organization or club, and your role in the league.
  • League & competitive data: teams, rosters, jersey numbers, positions, player photos, divisions, competitive levels, matches, goals, cards, standings, match reports, referee availability, assignments, and fee schedules.
  • Referee credentials: USSF/US Soccer Learning Center ID, license level, verification status, and expiration date, fetched or refreshed on your request or via scheduled verification.
  • Billing data: subscription tier, status, and billing metadata managed by our payment processor. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never stored on Leagivo servers.
  • Communications: support tickets, invitations, and email notifications you send or receive through Leagivo.
  • Device & usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamps, error logs, and basic performance metrics used to operate and secure the service.
  • Cookies & local storage: session tokens, theme preference, and other functional settings (see Cookies & analytics).
  • Address autocomplete: when you use address autocomplete, your query is sent to Google Maps Platform to return suggestions.

How we use information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain Leagivo accounts, leagues, and match-day tools.
  • Authenticate users, manage sessions, and enforce role and league permissions.
  • Publish public league information — standings, fixtures, results, team names and logos — that leagues intentionally make visible.
  • Verify referee credentials and notify referees when their status changes.
  • Send transactional email (invitations, receipts, security alerts, status changes).
  • Process subscription payments and manage billing status.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
  • Improve reliability and performance, debug errors, and develop new features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Sharing & subprocessors

We share personal information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Within your league. Organizers, co-organizers and referees you are grouped with can see information appropriate to their role (rosters, matches, fees, availability). Standings and public league pages may be visible to anyone.
  • Service providers (subprocessors) that help us run Leagivo, under contract and with confidentiality obligations:
    • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
    • Cloudflare — hosting, edge runtime, and DDoS protection.
    • Stripe — subscription payments and billing.
    • Resend — transactional email delivery.
    • Google Maps Platform — address autocomplete and geocoding.
    • US Soccer Learning Center — referee credential verification (on request).
  • Legal & safety. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Leagivo, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Cookies & analytics

Leagivo uses cookies and local storage strictly needed to sign you in, remember your theme, and keep your session secure. We also collect aggregate performance and error data to operate the service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies and site data from your browser at any time; doing so will sign you out.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Public league records (e.g. historical standings and results) may remain visible after individual accounts are removed, with personal identifiers minimized where possible.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect personal information: TLS in transit, encryption at rest for our managed database and object storage, row-level security on every user table, salted-and-hashed passwords, short-lived session tokens, automatic sign-out after inactivity, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@leagivo.com.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. From your Settings you can:

  • Update your profile, preferences, and address.
  • Change your email and password.
  • Review and revoke active sessions.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription.
  • Delete your account from Settings → Danger zone.

For requests we cannot complete in-app, email privacy@leagivo.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children's privacy

Leagivo accounts require users to be at least 13 years old. Player profiles for minors are created and managed by their team manager or league organizer, who is responsible for obtaining any parental consent required by law. If you believe a child under 13 has created their own account, contact us and we will remove it.

International transfers

Leagivo is operated from the United States and processes data in the U.S. and other regions where our subprocessors operate. When we transfer personal data from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

U.S. state disclosures

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights to know, correct, delete, and port their personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising. Leagivo does not sell personal information, does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not use it for targeted advertising. To exercise your rights, email privacy@leagivo.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Leagivo after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
